Greetings! I am Richard Bogan Founder of PERNOX LABS, LLC. I have been an enthusiastic and passionate user of PERNOX since 1967. 

As a high school athlete in Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia having clean and clear facial skin was hugely important. A coach recommended I try PERNOX after getting off the muddy football and rugby fields  to get my face clean. PERNOX was the only facial scrub that gave me that fresh rejuvenating deep clean, clear, and polished skin. happily continued using PERNOX every day for the next 47 years. 

But then In 2013 PERNOX WAS GONE! It disappeared from the drug store shelves and all online presence. 

The Internet was buzzing with 100's of panicked devoted PERNOX users wondering the same thing. As one Internet Commentator emphatically stated on May 5, 2020 "there will never again be a product as miraculous for skin as PERNOX.”

What we later learned is the original  PERNOX left the market place (after annual sales exceeded 200,000 units in 2009) because of a series of colliding & concurring events. 

• In 2010 the Buffalo, NY contract manufacturer of PERNOX sold the sole manufacturing facility and longtime home of PERNOX.

• All PERNOX management and staff were laid-off in 2011 (260 employees).

• PERNOX’s proprietary raw material cleansing ingredient (DOW Chemical’s Triton X-200) was dropped - as a cost-cutting move - from the market in 2011.

• SUN Pharma acquired Ranbaxy in 2014. SUN Pharma closed all of Ranbaxy's US operations. Ranbaxy was the last manufacturer of Original PERNOX.

• In 2015, all US cosmetic’s companies were required, to remove plastic exfoliating microbeads from their formulas.

Unfortunately neither Ranbaxy nor SUN Pharma cared to do the heavy lifting and investment to find a replacement for the plastic microbeads or the missing essential cleansing ingredient. 

So we decided to do the heavy lifting ourselves!

In 2020 the United States Patent and Trademark Office granted the exclusive PERNOX Trademark to Richard Bogan. (USPTO - Serial #87864568, Registration #6211552)  

My decades long executive leadership experience with several multi-billion dollar international consumer products and logistics companies has shaped and guided our PERNOX Team’s devotion and enthusiasm for:

Quickly joining the PERNOX Team was George Lukis, Westwood/Squibb’s PERNOX Master Blending Scientist (1979 to 2009). During George’s 30 years with Westwood/Squibb he meticulously created literally 100,000’s of pounds of Original PERNOX.
